There have been a constant clamoring about some sort of a sequel to the 80’s cult classic:  Critters for some time now. Jordan Downe of the ThanksKilling franchise even threw his hat into the ring with a cool, little short film called Critters: Bounty Hunter.

Now, nearly 4 years later we finally have an official announcement of a net- series Critters: A New Binge  coming from Blue Ribbon Content (Warner Bros/  Verizon) on  go90 platform. Jordan Rubin will direct from the script by Jon Kaplan, Al Kaplan and himself. Series is produced by the original Critters franchise’s Rupert Harvey and Barry Opper alongside Kaplans and Rubin.

Here’s an official synopsis:

-In “Critters: A New Binge” the critters return to Earth in search of one of their kin, who was left behind years ago during an earlier mission. They land in Burbank, California where they wreak havoc on a group of high schoolers and their families.-
